Copper piping systems are ideally suited for conveying natural, town and liquefied gas products. The safety, durability and its ease of installation are two of the main reasons why the popularity of copper piping has increased in recent years.
The excellent performance of copper tubes has been well established for many decades. The United States, Canada, Europe and Australia have extensive experience using copper pipe for the distribution of natural, town and liquefied gas in residential and industrial applications. Based on tests carried out by the Gas Research Institute (GTI) in the United states and with more than 30 years of successful use of copper by gas companies in the United States, major code bodies have approved copper for fuel gas piping systems.
The National Building Code of India, recommends Copper Piping system for the internal piping applications of Piped Gas Installations.
